13.1 Safety Policy

Our company takes employee safety very seriously. In order to provide a safe workplace for everyone, every employee must follow our safety rules:

  • Roughhousing, and other physical acts that may endanger employees or cause accidents are prohibited.
  • You must follow your supervisors' safety instructions.
  • All equipment must be used properly. This means all guards, restraints, and other safety devices must be used at all times. Do not use equipment for other than its intended purpose.
  • Some equipment, such as power tools, may cause a safety hazard and you are required to wear protective equipment such as safety glasses or masks when using this equipment. You may only use this equipment upon receiving approval and instruction in its proper use from your supervisor.
  • You must immediately report any workplace condition that you believe to be unsafe to your supervisor. Play-Well will look into the matter promptly.
  • You must immediately report any workplace accident or injury to your supervisor and fill out an incident report provided by our insurer.
  • Proper lifting techniques must be used at all times when moving company materials.
