4.3 Probationary Period

The first 30 days of your employment are a probationary period, which may be extended if your supervisor decides that such an extension is appropriate. During this time, your supervisor will work with you to help you learn how to do your job successfully and what is expected of you. You will meet with your supervisor to learn about time card procedures, review your job goals and performance requirements, and give you feedback during this orientation period on your job performance thus far. This period also provides both you and Play-Well TEKnologies with an opportunity to decide whether you are suited for the position for which you were hired.

During the probationary period, your supervisor will give you feedback on your performance and will be available to answer any questions you might have.

Successful completion of your probationary period does not guarantee you a job for any period of time or in any way change the at-will employment relationship.

For an explanation of at-will employment, see Section 2 of this Handbook.
