Drive Time

All employees driving to teach a program or event will be paid at their regular rate for their time spent driving in both directions. It is the employee's responsibility to record this drive time correctly on their timecard. Please note that drive time IS to be included in the 3 hour minimum calculation for the day.

Mileage

Play-Well TEKnologies reimburses employees for mileage when they are transporting teaching materials or traveling somewhere out of their regular area - like for a meeting or retreat. Assistants not transporting teaching materials will not be compensated for their mileage, but do still receive drive time compensation. The rate at which mileage is paid out is $0.35 per 1 mile traveled. Mileage will always be calculated as the most direct route from the employee's home address to that day's work site.

Tolls & Bridges

While on company business, you will be reimbursed for all parking fees, road and bridge tolls. Enter the expense on your time card, upload the receipt, and your manager will approve the expense.
