11.5 Practical Jokes and Pranks

Although we want our employees to enjoy their jobs and have fun working together, we cannot allow employees to play practical jokes or pranks on each other. At best, these actions disrupt the workplace and dampen the morale of some; at worst, they can endanger employees and lead to complaints of discrimination, harassment, or assault. If you have any questions about this policy, contact our Human Resources Department. Employees who play pranks or practical jokes will face disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
